Scope-Store ENT The Scope-Store ‘ENT’ range from LTE Scientific has been specifically designed to provide drying and filtered air storage for a wide range of non-
lumened flexible ENT scopes. The range comprises 6 models with 2 levels of control: + and SE.
Scope capacities are 10 and 20. All models incorporate a built-in fan and HEPA filter system which delivers a high volume of 99.997% HEPA filtered air through the cabinet and maintains an over-pressure within the cabinet of at least 10 Pascals.
The hanger/holder system has been specifically designed to support ENT scopes and promote effective drying.
Our ‘+’ models incorporate a flexible and sophisticated touchscreen control system.
Touchscreen Controls
The Scope-Store ENT+ has an easy-to-use touchscreen control system. The menu-based interface allows details of each user and endoscope to be recorded easily, with relevant data being displayed.
Scope Identification
Scope IDs are pre-loaded into the control system. The identity of the scope and its location in the cabinet must be entered via the touchscreen before the door is released and the scope loaded. When the scope is to be removed, it must be logged out via the touchscreen to release the door. This procedure allows the scope to be fully traceable. Alternatively, scopes can be scanned in and out of the cabinet using our barcode reader option.
Security, Monitoring, and Traceability
Controlled access is one of the many features of the Scope-Store ENT+. A door interlock prevents anyone without a relevant PIN or barcode from gaining access to the cabinet. Individual PINs and barcodes are assigned to users who need access to the cabinet. Each entry and exit of the scope is recorded and attributed to the relevant user. The elapsed storage time of each scope is constantly displayed as a simple bar graph on the touchscreen. Any fault condition causes an audible or visible alarm. The monitoring system provides the clinician with a full picture of each scope’s storage cycle.
All data is recorded on a printer as standard and, optionally, can be stored on an internal archive or external PC via an independent monitoring system, which can also be linked to a departmental-wide track and trace system if required. Our ‘SE’ models are designed to offer the same air delivery system but without the addition of the touchscreen control system. ‘SE’ models incorporate a push-button PIN door security system which will only release the door once the correct PIN has been entered.
